With only one day to fill and after a very early start and late finish to the previous day, we did not manage to see an awful lot of Abu Dhabi with Steve.

We did manage to visit the fish market and a couple of souqs before  heading for the opulence of Emirates Palace Hotel.

A coffee here is twice the price of anywhere else but it is a treat. A permanent exhibition shows the plans for the future expansion of Abu Dhabi.

We managed a very late lunch at the golf club before watching the sun go down over the Grand Mosque.
