We left it so late that we couldn’t book on-line and had to drive into the town centre at 7pm to pay for tickets. At 11.30 pm we were at the airport and about 12 hours later were drinking Gin Slings in Raffles.

The plan was for one drink and then some sight seeing. But the peanuts and gin slings kept coming and we only got a glimpse of Singapore life beyond the Long Bar.
