A drive out into the country. What Mam & Dad enjoy most. Dad seemed to know where he was going and I know we ended up in Goathland, but even after looking at a map I really don’t know what route we took.

Anyway, the four of us had a great day out. Lots of wonderful North Yorkshire Moors scenery. Lunch in the Mallyan Hotel (followed by a walk to Mallyan Spout waterfall for Sue and I) through Goathland and home.

Pub lunches seem to be a recurring theme on this trip! I don’t think there is anything quite like an English country pub anywhere else in the world.
