This years exhibition of modern art at the Emirates Palace Hotel was sponsored by HSBC. Since we bank with them we received an invite and figured that there were bound to be freebies. We arrived a few minutes too late for the food but hung around long enough for the cocktails.

SInce we didn’t have a spare US$15k we headed into the design studio where she could have a go at making her own art.  The laser detects your hand movements as you spin the virtual potters wheel. The finished pot is then created by a 3D printer which builds it one thin layer at a time.
