Once again we headed into Rub Al Khali or The Empty Quarter. After inspecting two of the restored forts in the Liwa oasis we went to Tel Moreeb, the UAE’s biggest sand dune and home to some of the craziest off-road challenges. You can see the dune in the background of the picture above. Extremely high powered 4wd’s attempt to head straight up the slope. We watched several make it while we were there and one do a wheelie across the slope.

Again Daniel and Hayden found some toys to play with. This time they hired quad bikes and spent a happy hour playing in the dunes.
