Obviously this was an excuse for lots of eating and drinking. Jonathan came prepared with several suitcases full of wine. Unfortunately the airport x-ray machines spotted it resulting in an hours delay, an official warning (complete with stamped certificate) and the confiscation of several bottles. Claire was quick to persuade them to confiscate the cheaper bottles and they still arrived with far more than the official allowance.

A gentle stroll along the Corniche on a typical winters day seemed like a good way to begin before heading home to start on the wine.
