After much toing and froing at work I finally managed to get leave approved and was able to escape the August heat and humidity of Abu Dhabi to meet Sue and Peter in Athens.

We had a cute apartment in a renovated building where we could drink wine under the olive tree at night and walk to the Acropolis during the day.

Perfect.
