We had hired a car to get around Athens since the taxi drivers were threatening strike action most days. This meant we could venture out of the city. The Temple of Poseidon is about an hour and a half out of Athens at Sounion.
A nice lunch, explore the ruins and then swim in the Aegeon before dinner in Athens.
