A drive south of Muscat revealed some beautiful coastal scenery and a quiet, sandy beach for a picnic and a swim in the Indian Ocean.

We came across these men on the way to the beach. They had a fire burning inside the oil drum and were cooking bread on top. We asked if we could buy some from them and they simply gave us the largest pice of flat bread I have ever seen. We had some for lunch and the rest for dinner that night.
