Yesterday a dismal weather forecast prevented us from attempting any ambitious walks, instead we followed the path of the old railway line from Spennymoor to Bishop Auckland.
A cold day but no rain so we enjoyed a few hours of easy walking through green hedgerows and woodland, eventually ending up in Bishops Park.

Sunday
After a late night with Sue and John we had a slow start to the day but were determined to get some exercise before Sunday lunch.
We ended up walking along the river into Durham with sunshine above but lots of mud beneath.
We all earned our Yorkshire puddings.
