Today we managed a walk above Ullswater before the rain chased us off the hills. Lunch in Keswick and then on to Grasmere before heading home with a short detour to view the Bownes ferry. Apparently if Daniel passes all his training with the RNZ he could one day aspire to become the skipper on the Bownes ferry.
