From our secluded bay we headed to Hvar Town. Still no wind. Don’t know why this is called a sailing holiday.
Hvar was fabulous. A traffic free town square next to the harbour. We followed narrow cobbled streets through the old town and a path to the fort overlooking the harbour.

We also had our first visit from the boat mechanics who came to fix the fuel and water gauges and the gps. They explained again how to operate the generator – we had all forgotten one vital switch, so the batteries were not charging.
By 2.30 we were motoring again, this time to Vis town on Vis Island. We were forced to travel all the way with the generator going because none of us could turn it off!

The next mechanic turned up at 8.30pm to switch of the generator – we were not being stupid there was a faulty switch. He also installed a new gps which worked for about half an hour the next day.
