A business trip to view Virtual Learning Environments is providing some wonderful sight seeing opportunities. First stop is Malaysia and two nights in Kuala Lumpur. Not as hot as Abu Dhabi but twice as sweaty.
Yesterday we managed to walk to the Petronas Towers. There was an air- conditioned walkway linking several hotels and shopping centres to the KL Convention Centre. The Convention Centre opens onto a park with great views of the towers. So good that I decided to go back to see it at night. Unfortunately the walkway closed at 11pm. By the time I had walked around the park and 20 minutes back across town I was dripping. Well worth it to see the towers lit up.
