Accommodation went up several stars again when we moved into the Villa Turquoise, a luxury villa by the  Indian Ocean on the east coast of Zanzibar.

This was as close to R&R as we ever get and yet we managed a days diving (where we swam with a whale shark), another snorkelling and a sight-seeing day in Stone Town in which we were only metres away from an exploding bomb!
