Howard Hull, a fellow student from the Day Skipper Sailing Course, recently bought a Beneteau First 31.7 – that’s a sailing boat for those not in the know!

He is keen to sail whenever possible and we are most definitely keen to crew whenever we are invited.

50 knot winds two weeks ago meant that the first planned day sail had to be cancelled but today the weather was perfect. Howard, Stellios (also from the sailing course), Sue and I enjoyed 15 knot winds as we sailed from Dubai Offshore Sailing Club past the iconic Burj Al Arabic and around Sheikh Mohammed’s island next to The Palm Jumeirah.
